Yuria had a blood test in January that showed abnormal kidney numbers. A recent blood test indicated that the levels had increased. This morning, before work, I went to the vet to discuss the situation. The plan is to continue with subcutaneous fluids and a therapeutic diet once a week. A month later, the blood tests were repeated, and her weight increased from 4.8kg to 5.1kg. I was thrilled to see this improvement. Most importantly, Yuria was able to receive subcutaneous fluid injections at the clinic. Yuria is an amazing genius, and with this recent transformation, she has earned the nickname "Choroa" in our house. We are lucky to have such a resilient pet.
